How material is released

A purity figure without a lot-specific certificate behind it is a marketing number. This is the process every batch goes through before it appears in the catalog.

  1. Incoming material is quarantined

Nothing is listed as available until the lot has been received, logged against a unique internal identifier, and held pending assay.

  2. Independent assay

A sample is submitted to a third-party analytical laboratory. Purity is determined by HPLC and identity is confirmed by mass spectrometry.

  3. Release or reject

Material that does not meet the stated specification is not released for sale. There is no second tier and no discount bin.

  4. Certificate filed to the lot

The certificate is filed against the lot number printed on the vial, so the document you download describes the material you received.

Scope of testing

Testing establishes chemical identity and purity for laboratory use. It does not establish safety, suitability, or sterility for use in a person or animal, and no such determination should be inferred from any certificate we publish.

Research use only. Not for human or veterinary use.
